高い保温力と通気性、そして耐水性を併せ持った軽量でコンパクトに収縮可能な中綿入りのフードジャケットです。
袖を着脱できるため、比較的暖かな季節や時間に軽快に活動するためのベストとしても使用でき、スノーシーズンを取り巻く様々な環境に対応するほか、寒い時期のトレッキングから軽量登山といったアルパインアクティビティにも優れた快適性を提供します。
中綿の表面には防水透湿のメンブレンが張られ、冷気の侵入を防ぎ体温を留めることにより綿の厚みが少なくても高い保温力を発揮します。
また、バッグを背負う背中の蒸れを考慮し、背面にはメンブレンは張られていません。
中綿は上半身と上腕部に60g/m2、サイドパネル、肘下、フードには40g/m2の異なる厚みが配され、保温性を確保しつつ動きを妨げない厚みを適所に配しています。
また、中綿に張られた防水透湿メンブレンは洗濯時などで起こる綿の偏りをなくし、余分なステッチを省くことで冷気の侵入をさらに防ぐ役割も持っています。

This lightweight and packable insulated hooded jacket combines high warmth breathability and water resistance.
The sleeves are removable allowing it to be worn as a vest for more active use in relatively mild conditions.
It offers excellent comfort across a variety of snow season environments as well as alpine activities such as cold-weather trekking and lightweight mountaineering.
A waterproof breathable membrane is laminated on the surface of the insulation which blocks cold air and retains body heat enabling high thermal performance even with thinner insulation.
The back panel does not have the membrane to reduce moisture buildup when wearing a backpack.
The insulation thickness varies by area with 60 grams per square meter on the torso and upper arms and 40 grams per square meter on the side panels below the elbows and on the hood.
This ensures warmth without restricting movement.
Additionally the laminated membrane prevents insulation shifting during washing and reduces the need for extra stitching further minimizing cold air penetration.
